By Plane

The Peloponnese is served by two major airports, Kalamata International Airport (10 km from Kalamata) and Araxos International Airport in Patra. Both are very convenient for travellers visiting the Peloponnese on a short time table.
From the airports, visitors can rent a car, hire a taxi or take a KTEL bus to Kardamili.

By Train

The train is very economical solution to travel to the Peloponnese from Athens (Peloponnisou station), though slightly time-consuming, the journey is rich in scenery. Guests are advised to purchase and reserve a seat ahead.

The nearest station is in Kalamata from there, guests can take a KTEL bus, rent a car or hire a taxi to Kardamili.

By Car

The drive to Kardamili is approximately a 3 hours and 30 minutes’ drive from Athens or the port of Patra.
From Athens, take the Highway through past Korinth, Tripoli, Megaloupoli to Kalamata. From Patra follow the route Patra – Araxos – Pyrgos – Kalo Nero to Kalamata.

From Kalamata take the road south towards Areopoli for 35 km, Kardamili is the first coastal village on this road.

From the village of Kardamili, you would have to turn left at the Town Hall, after 100m you will see Lithos on your left side.

By Bus (KTEL)

The KTEL bus system is extensive, reliable, quick and inexpensive. Buses leave from Athens Kifissou Bus station nearly every hour for Kalamata.
From Kalamata departures for Kardamili are frequent with 3 departures in the morning, 2 at midday and 2 in the late afternoon.
